Winter Noir is more than just a theme; it is an embrace of frosty, mysterious elegance—a canvas painted with the deep, moody hues of the season.

Reflecting on the last three months of 2024 fills us with immense gratitude. This period was nothing short of extraordinary, where the talents of our community illuminated every project and event.

It’s a tribute to bold concepts, daring artistry, and the power of storytelling through fashion and photography.

Over the past year, Euphoria Magazine has grown from an idea into a thriving creative movement. None of this would have been possible without the incredible artists, designers, photographers, models, and collaborators who have graced

MoLove Exclusive & Eagle Festival of Trees

At the heart of this year’s Eagle Festival of Trees, Euphoria Magazine partnered with local designer MoLove to create something truly special. Together, we designed an exclusive Euphoria Magazine t-shirt, featured as part of a uniquely decorated tree celebrating artistry and community spirit. This one-of-a-kind collaboration brought a fresh, creative twist to the festival, drawing attention f rom attendees and spreading holiday cheer.

The Festival of Trees is an annual tradition that brings together local businesses, artists, and community members to showcase beautifully decorated trees that symbolize the creativity and heart of Eagle. Euphoria Magazine’s tree stood out with its bold, contemporary design, blending the elegance of the Winter Noir theme with the vibrant energy that MoLove’s designs are known for. The tree became a focal point of the festival, drawing admirers who appreciated its artistic flair and innovative concept.

Each detail of the tree was thoughtfully curated to represent the synergy between Euphoria Magazine and the local creative community. From handcrafted ornaments to the exclusive t-shirt, every element told a story of collaboration, passion, and shared vision. MoLove’s exceptional talent was evident in the design of the t-shirt, which combined modern fashion with subtle nods to Euphoria Magazine’s aesthetic.

In addition to its visual appeal, the tree served a greater purpose by giving back to the community. A limited number of the exclusive t-shirts were made available for purchase, with proceeds going toward supporting local artistic initiatives.

The collaboration was a true testament to the power of partnerships in elevating local talent and fostering community connections. It highlighted Euphoria Magazine’s dedication to championing creativity in all its forms and creating opportunities for artists and designers to shine.

Thank you to everyone who visited the Eagle Festival of Trees, admired our tree, and purchased the exclusive t-shirt. The evening was nothing short of magical, with the historic venue transformed into a spine-chilling yet enchanting atmosphere that brought the community together for a night of creativity, fun, and celebration.

The highlight of the evening was the costume contest, which saw attendees arrive dressed to the nines in their most imaginative and elaborate costumes. From eerie gothic ensembles to vibrant and whimsical creations, the creativity on display was truly inspiring. Over 30 contestants entered the competition, showcasing their artistic talents and passion for the Halloween spirit. The energy was electric as guests cheered on their favorites, making the contest a thrilling centerpiece of the night.

Adding to the immersive experience, the event featured incredible performances by local DJs, including @tennant_productions, @deadlynightshade.music, @i.am.lx_, and @madjmixes. Rarefied’s collaboration brought an extra layer of excitement to the event, with their expertise in fostering talent shining through. The partnership added a professional yet playful edge to the evening, ensuring every detail was executed flawlessly. From the contest registration at 7 pm to the announcement of winners at 9:30 pm, the event was seamlessly organized, leaving attendees in awe of the effort and creativity poured into the night.

Beyond the contest, the Haunted Castle itself became a character in the celebration. Its dark, mysterious ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening, while the carefully curated décor added to the immersive experience. Guests wandered through the venue, soaking in the eerie yet inviting atmosphere and connecting with fellow community members who shared a love for creativity and Halloween festivities.

The event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of the local creative community. Photographers captured the essence of the night, models showcased their versatility in themed outfits, and attendees’ enthusiasm brought the event to life. It was a true celebration of Boise’s vibrant artistic scene and a reminder of the magic that happens when we come together.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and supported this event. Your energy and passion made the Haunted Castle a night to remember. Studio Boise – Meet Teri!

Studio Boise is a photography studio located in Boise, Idaho, offering
a range of services and facilities for photographers and artists. Known as a staple in the Boise photography community for over ten years, Studio Boise provides rental spaces equipped with professional lighting and backdrops, ideal for various types of photography, including portraits, product shoots, and more. The studio also offers workshops and classes aimed at enhancing photography skills for both beginners and experienced photographers.

About a year ago, Studio Boise underwent a change in ownership, with Teri Harrison and Greg Hahn taking over. Their leadership brought an exciting, fresh breath of air while preserving the studio’s reputation as one of Boise’s favorite creative spaces. The studio is celebrated for fostering a collaborative environment where local artists and photographers can work and learn together, building a strong creative community.

Studio Boise offers equipment rentals, including a wide variety of lenses, camera bodies, as well as lighting gear. The camera club offers members discounted rates on rentals, and free access to their monthly shootouts. Its central location in Boise further enhances its appeal as a go-to space for creativity and collaboration.

What inspired you to take over Studio Boise, and what drew you to its creative community?

First I have to credit Scott (the previous owner) and Kerené (the manager for the previous two years) with building this amazing community. My first time at the studio was for a Shootout, Studio Boise’s content building event for photographers and models. I loved the diversity of people and the assortment of skill levels of those participating. It was obvious to me that everyone was welcome and everyone was supportive. Seasoned photographers were helping those who were just starting their photogrpahy practice. I wanted to be a part of that community no matter what.

How do you envision Studio Boise evolving under your leadership while maintaining its legacy as a staple in Boise’s photography scene?

My first focus is to continue the inclusivity that defines Studio Boise. My second focus is to make sure that this business is run in a way so it can not only sustain itself, but grow and help support the amazing members of this community in new and vital ways.

What are some new features, services, or programs you’ve introduced since taking over, and how have they been received by the community?

Camera Club is new, a loyalty program membership that provides its members with 10% off anything Studio Boise offers – classes, studio reservations, gear rentals, everything! There are other benefits too, like Shootouts are free for Camera Club members! We will also be hosting Camera Club Coffee, this is still in the works as far as scheduling and frequency, but I wanted
to provide a time and place for photographers and industry members to get together and talk, network, and support one another.

The Basement, a space Studio Boise has used in different ways over the years, is now a fully rentable studio space. It is HUGE – just under 1300 square feet of space, and includes a bed, chaise lounge, high key light box, a rolling wall (currently with a 3D texture on one side), as well as all of the other included features of the upstairs studios.

A couple of things are back: shootouts and classes. Shootouts will be held quarterly on Wednesday evenings, registration is required. Classes will be held quarterly as well, and will vary in skill level and area of study.

I have spent a lot of time improving the space, but is it perfect? No, it won’t ever be, but I love that it wont ever be perfect. Studio Boise is constantly developing (pun intended?). Studio Boise’s props, people, everything is constantly evolving. Is the paint on the Cyc Wall better and stays cleaner longer now that I have done a lot of research on paint? YES! Are all of the spaces fully finished? No, but every day I am trying to improve one thing. Everyday something gets refreshed. Day by day we are trying to improve something in the studio, even if it is just dusting the top corners of the 11- foot celiings of Studio A. Oh and we have flat and bubbly water for refreshment!

What role do you see Studio Boise playing in the broader creative and artistic ecosystem of Boise?

Shelter and support. A place, a safe place, for creatives to not only create but feel welcome, inspired, and supported.

How do you plan to support emerging photographers and artists in Boise, especially those just starting out?

What I have found since starting at Studio Boise is how many people just want to talk or ask questions. Every day someone calls or stops in, they have questions that they cant quite figure out online. These may be the simple things, but they can be things it might take years of time and a lot of investment to figure out. I want to provide a place where everyone feels welcome and supported and can ask anything they want.

Are there any upcoming collaborations, events, or initiatives you’re particularly excited about?

I am excited for Camera Club Coffee to get off the ground, I think this will really help photographers feel supported and not so isolated in a industry that can feel so isolating. I’m hoping it can be a low-key, easy and non-intimidating way to meet new people, share new ideas, ask questions and just start to feel comfortable and connected.

How do you balance preserving Studio Boise’s established reputation while also introducing fresh and innovative ideas?

While planning the return of the shootouts and the return of classes, I honestly have asked so many people what they liked about the shootouts and classes, what they didn’t like and what they want. As a recent graduate focusing on fine art photography (GO BRONCOS!) many of Studio Boise’s long term clients have been involved in this community longer than I have. I have visions for Studio Boise’s future, but to make them a success we have to grow and learn from the past.

What is your vision for the next five years for Studio Boise, and how do you hope to see it grow?
Five years? Who knows, I hope improved spaces, improved gear inventory, improved education, but over all I want to be a supportive inclusive space and member of this community.

What do you think sets Studio Boise apart from other creative spaces in the area?

Studio Boise is currently the only studio in the area that provides one-hour reservations. Most studios in the valley are a minimum investment of two hours. Not only that, but with every studio reservation we provide a strobe, a light modifier, wireless triggers, a fan, bluetooth speaker, your choice of two color backgrounds and all of our props are free to use! We are also the only local place to rent photography gear. We might not have everything, but we have most of it. And we are doing all we can to keep it all as affordable as possible.

What advice would you give to photographers and artists looking to make the most of Studio Boise’s resources and community?
Get involved, ask, talk, connect, but most importantly, practice. Get that camera out of its bag and use it. I am fully guilty of this. So much of my time at Studio Boise is spent on admin work or physically improving the studio space. I feel energized and not so lonely when I use my camera. Every time I take a photo or edit, I learn something and I can talk about it with Studio Boise’s community.

We hosted a community photoshoot at Studio Boise to bring our Winter
Noir vision to life. This event was all about celebrating creativity, fostering community, and showcasing the unique talents of everyone involved.

Bringing the Vision Together

The evening was a true team effort. Teri from Studio Boise provided a fantastic space that set the tone for a creative and inspiring shoot. Local collaborators stepped in to add their magic, making the entire experience unforgettable.

Olivier Broox: Redefining Modern Luxury with Fur Coats

Born and raised in eastern Idaho, Brooks James has always had an eye for fashion—drawn to vintage and unique pieces that tell a story and stand out in a sea of trends. For her, comfort and warmth have always been essential in every outfit, but her passion for timeless style extended far beyond practicality.

For years, Brooks harbored a quiet dream: to normalize fur coats for modern wear—not as a fleeting trend, but as an enduring staple in fashion. Her own journey with fur began with a coat she adored yet never found the courage to wear. It traveled with her through different phases of life until she eventually parted ways with it, still longing for a piece that felt like “the one.”

The turning point came in 2019 when she watched Jennifer Lopez on-screen, draped in an ivory-toned fur coat that radiated confidence and elegance. That moment sparked a fire within her—a burning desire to own something just as striking. Her search for the perfect long, ivory fur coat became relentless, spanning years without success.

Then one day, while scrolling through Instagram, Brooks stumbled upon a viral image of a woman wearing exactly what she had been envisioning. Fueled with excitement, she checked the comment section, hoping to uncover the source of the coat. To her surprise, the post was flooded with inquiries, and the woman revealed it had been thrifted—a one-of-a-kind find with no links to share.

Frustrated yet inspired, Brooks began asking herself, “Why aren’t clothing retailers making these?

Clearly, there’s a demand.” And then it hit her: “Why don’t I do it?”

That simple question planted the seed of what would become her unique venture. It was uncharted territory—an idea unlike anything she had ever pursued. With no background in the fashion industry and no roadmap to guide her, Brooks sat on the idea for two years, hoping someone else might step up.

But everything changed when she reflected on her role as a mother. “How am I going to make my daughter believe she can do anything she wants, be anything she wants, if I don’t show her?” That thought became her call to action. She decided to take the leap, embracing the unknown, and she’s never looked back.

Today, Brooks James is making waves in the Boise fashion scene with her signature creation: the “Duchess” coat, a vegan fur masterpiece that blends vintage luxury with a modern, sustainable twist. This elegant, ivory-toned coat has quickly become a favorite among Boise’s socialites, cementing itself as the go-to winter accessory
for those who want to stay warm while making
a bold statement. Whether it’s worn to upscale events, winter parties, or stylish streetwear looks, the Duchess coat radiates timeless sophistication and is already being hailed as an iconic staple in the city’s fashion landscape.

Brooks James’ rise is a testament to the power of perseverance, creativity, and the courage to follow your instincts. From a quiet dream to a rising fashion brand, she’s proving that with determination and passion, even the boldest ideas can become reality. Her journey is not just about redefining modern luxury—it’s about showing others, especially her daughter, that anything is possible.

Creative Submissions: Winter Noir

Fashion that embodies the season’s darker tones and striking contrasts. Designs that channel the raw power of winter—think layered textures, dramatic silhouettes, and pieces that convey a story of strength and sophistication. From avant-garde outerwear to ethereal evening looks, editorials should captivate with its depth and evoke winter’s untold beauty.

Embrace a world of muted, earthy shades and deep, rich hues. We’re after tones that reflect the season’s subtle beauty—smoky grays, midnight blues, and shadowy blacks—paired with occasional glimpses of metallics or jewel tones. Create visual compositions that are moody yet mesmerizing, capturing the essence of winter’s quiet power.

Dive deep into the themes of solitude, resilience, and quiet reflection. We welcome editorial stories that are as thoughtful as they are visually arresting. Let your concepts evoke the spirit of winter nights, the peacefulness of empty landscapes, and the mystery that lingers in the season’s silence.

Fuse moody fashion, compelling casting, and evocative photography to create editorials that not only captivate but also capture the unfiltered beauty of winter’s shadowed charm. We want to see work that reflects the essence of the “Winter Noir” theme—each shot a quiet but powerful expression of winter’s timeless allure.

As I write this final note for our “Winter Noir” edition, I’m overcome with gratitude for the dedication, passion, and artistry that has brought this issue to life. This edition is not only a stunning tribute to the beauty of winter—its quiet strength, its moody elegance—but also a celebration of an incredible milestone: the one- year anniversary of Euphoria Magazine.

Over the past year, Euphoria has grown from a dream into a thriving creative platform, and it’s all thanks to you—our community of readers, creators, and collaborators. This issue embodies everything we strive to represent: boldness in creativity, an embrace of the unconventional, and a celebration of individuality. Within these pages, you’ll find hauntingly beautiful visuals, rich storytelling, and deeply personal artistry, all tied together by the magic of winter’s noir aesthetic.

To every model, photographer, designer, and contributor who poured their heart into this edition, I extend my sincerest gratitude. Your vision and dedication have made this issue

a masterpiece. To our readers, thank you for believing in us and sharing in this journey. Your unwavering support fuels our passion and reminds us why we began this magazine in the first place—to showcase the beauty, talent, and creativity that this community holds.

This one-year milestone is a testament to what we can achieve together. It’s a reflection of the incredible spirit of collaboration and inspiration that drives Euphoria forward. As we step into another year, I’m filled with excitement for what lies ahead and confidence that, with this community by our side, the possibilities are endless.

With heartfelt appreciation and anticipation for the future,
